Celebrate the Billie Martinez Neighborhood!

On Friday, Sept. 8, area residents, agencies, and businesses will host the 3rd Annual Neighborhood Celebration – Better Together – in the Billie Martinez neighborhood at the Rodarte Center, 920 A Street from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

There will be guided rides on the Poudre River Trail, crazy bikes, face painting and free food and drinks. In addition to this party, free shuttle rides to the Greeley/Evans Transit Center’s Grand Opening will take place.

“For many years, this neighborhood has come together to celebrate its roots and future. This year is no different,” reports Deb DeBoutez, “there are so many good things happening in the Billie Martinez neighborhood right now. For example, the opening of the City’s regional transit station, the completion of the award-winning Aven’s Village nearby, recent public works improvements and declining crime reports.”
