Learn the Importance of Cultural Competence and Humility.

This interactive session explores cultural competence and humility.

These concepts are essential in the pursuit of authentic engagement.This class also covers how both can be cultivated. All while participants identify next steps for strengthening critical self-reflection.  Thus leading to better relationship building among diverse partners.

The instructors for this course are Liz Gilbert, Ed. D and Virginia Visconti, Ph.D. Dr. Gilbert is an Associate Professor of Community Health at the University of Northern Colorado.  Dr. Visconti is a Community Practice Specialist.

The City of Greeley Communications & Engagement Office offers free training opportunities. These classes promote diversity and inclusion in Greeley. Classes are free.  Please RSVP before the day of the class.
