Join the Greeley Historic Preservation Commission for presentations on two topics in October.

The Commission will host Angela Smelker, Research Assistant for the Center for Preservation Research at the University of Colorado, Denver. She will present about Colorado’s mid-century schools. Greeley has several significant mid-century schools, including five round schools designed and built in the 1960s.

The Commission will also host Joseph Saldibar from History Colorado. He who will present about historic preservation tax credits, available to owners of properties designated on the local, state or national register. These presentations will be held in conjunction with a Historic Preservation Commission meeting.
