2018 Children’s Water Festival is coming soon.

The Children’s Water Festival is a free event where Colorado water professionals provide presentations and activities about water, conservation, health, and aquatic life.  Activities support S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. From interactive science experiments to high-energy music about conservation to hands-on historic exploration, there is something for everyone.

The 2018 Festival theme is “Water For Health.”

We are currently registering 4th-grade classes for the Festival. Teachers need to register by December 1. To better serve our students we’ve reduced the maximum number of students at the event. Register early to ensure your spot. Bus assistance is available for school districts.

Sponsors, presenters, exhibitors,  and volunteers are also needed. Please reply by February 15.

The Central Colorado Water Conservancy District created the event in 1991. This festival is one of the oldest children’s water festivals in the nation. In 2006, the City of Greeley Water Conservation and Stormwater programs began co-presenting the event.

Keep up with the Water Festival and other local water education events on Facebook.
