Members of the community will present aspects of Scandinavian history and culture under the Friends Pavilion at Centennial Village Museum during this theme day.

Presentations are:

11 am — Sharran Martin will wear a native dress. She will bring dala horses of various sizes and discuss how dala horses came to be symbols of Sweden. In addition, she will talk about her personal Swedish heritage.

12 pm — Peg Isakson will demonstrate how to make a Swedish star ornament from ribbon.

1pm — Sandy Magnuson will make a presentation assuming the role of her grandmother (ala Chautauqua) and then segue into Swedish folks stories.
